Having toured the world as part of Argentina’s renowned Color Tango Orchestra, led by Emiliano Messiez, award-winning pianist of the Broadway and West End sensation Forever Tango—is made up of renowned musicians and tango legends, including Latin Grammy Award–winner Raul Jaurena. This newly formed orquesta típica makes its New York debut with a signature mix of original and classic tango arrangements, keeping dancers and music aficionados alike on their feet all night long
This evening features a free dance lesson from 5:30 to 6:00 pm that is accessible to people with limited mobility and will include seated versions of every dance. The lesson will be led by instructors from the Mark Morris Dance Group’s Dance for PD program, which specializes in creatively addressing balance, cognition, motor skills, and physical confidence through dance. All are welcome to participate, and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets to the dance floor afterward.

The adapted dance lesson from 5:30-6:00 is free, and tickets to the dance floor after 6:00 are $18 in advance, or $22 day-of. Participants are also welcome to enjoy the music free of charge in the park.
