Jazz at Lincoln Center: Lessons from Louis Armstrong – Lincoln Center Passport

May 12, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Jazz at Lincoln Center has assembled a diverse cast of outstanding jazz musicians to explore the life lessons of legendary musician, Louis Armstrong. Join us for this special concert as we explore the multiculturalism surrounding the birth of jazz in New Orleans and focus on how mentorship played a crucial role in Louis Armstrong becoming the music’s first and most important ambassador.

Designed for children, teens, and adults with disabilities and their families, Passport to the Arts provides a welcoming, accessible, and affordable introduction to the performing arts at Lincoln Center at no cost to participants. All programs this spring season take place virtually on the Zoom platform.
