In A Different Key Screening + Talkback

March 12 @ 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Screening + Talkback with filmmakers and award-winning journalists, Caren Zucker and John Donvan

In A Different Key is based on the Pulitzer Prize-nominated book of the same name by journalists, Caren Zucker and John Donvan – the film’s executive producers, who will join us in person. The film follows the mother of an autistic son as she finds and then befriends the first child ever diagnosed with autism, Donald Triplett, who still lives in the small Mississippi town where he was born nearly 90 years ago.

You’ll learn more about autism—the nation’s most prevalent developmental disorder that affects one in 44 U.S. children—during this unique, insightful and unforgettable afternoon. Light refreshments will be served.

Presented by Shireinu (Our Songs): Our community bringing together families who have a family member with a disability. Learn more here.
