This black and white image features two sleek, black airplanes at rest on a runway. The airplanes look very similar to each other. The aircraft on the left is the SR-71 Blackbird and the aircraft on the right is the A-12.

Explore the British Airways Concorde, the A-12 and other supersonic jets at the Intrepid Museum. Learn what it was like to fly and land supersonic planes and experiment with plane design through hands-on activities.

The Intrepid Museum offers Early Morning Openings and Sensory Friendly Evenings for individuals with autism eight times a year. By opening its doors early for children (ages 3-18) and their families participants can experience the Museum in a sensory-friendly environment.
