(ASL & CART in Zoom) Drawing Together: Toyin Ojih Odutola’s “The Listener”

July 27, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - August 18, 2022 @ 7:00 pm

Free

Join us for an online drawing program that centers mindfulness and community; free, but advance online registration is required to receive the Zoom link and view the Google Drive resources folder. Each session begins with short drawing warm-ups, followed by a close look at a work of art for inspiration and open-ended art-making prompts. Drawing Together provides a space to make and share in the company of others, welcoming everyone with an interest in cultivating their creativity. No art background is required. The featured artwork is part of the project Living Histories: Queer Views and Old Masters, and will be on view at Frick Madison (the temporary home of the Frick, located at 945 Madison Avenue) through September 11, 2022.

Live CART captioning and ASL interpretation will be provided. Instructions for joining through Zoom, as well as the prompts and works of art, will be provided in an email to registered participants one day in advance. For questions, email draw@frick.org.
