Art inSight at Home is a monthly online program for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Staff educators highlight specific themes, artists, or exhibitions through verbal description and discussion using the Zoom platform.

Artists have a long history of recognizing the hidden value in overlooked and humble materials, and imbuing them with new meaning and power. Join us as we explore the process of transforming trash into treasure through artistic practice.

Program Image Description
A large-scale landscape-oriented mixed media artwork, with an abstract clash of sky blue, muted gold, black, and white shapes extending to the edges of the canvas. Torn paper and splashed paint are layered on top of each other, with some areas defined in pale pink and mud gray paint. On the left side of the composition, there are carved lines emanating from various areas like cracked glass or a map of a city center.
