THE BOTTOM LINE:

CO/LAB Theater Group seeks a Program Manager to focus on CO/LAB:connect – CO/LAB’s workshops and residencies, Sharing the Stage (CO/LAB’s Professional Development offering), and building and supporting community in and around the organization. This team member would ideally begin work with CO/LAB the week of October 15, 2023.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN JUMP ON BOARD AND:

    • Manage CO/LAB:connect (CO/LAB’s partner residencies and one-off workshops):
      • Oversee outreach, onboarding, and ongoing communication with partners
      • Foster relationships and recruit new organizational partners
      • Oversee the tiered and subsidized pricing program 
      • Create training program and materials for in-class staff at partner sites to support connect workshops 
      • Coordinate & communicate with partners regarding schedules, attendance, updates and announcements
      • Manage connect budget
      • Manage & organize supplies for connect workshops and residencies
      • Collaborate on curriculum plans with Director of Programs and Teaching Artists 
      • Oversee collection & implementation of feedback
    • Manage Sharing the Stage (CO/LAB’s Professional Development Program)
      • Connect with organizations to promote and book Professional Development workshops, inclusive of workshop logistics, contracts, etc
      • Manage program development and curriculum
      • Work with Programming Team to schedule Teaching Artists & CO/LAB leaders as facilitators
    • Build community in and around the organization
      • Seek out and coordinate participation in fairs, conferences, and performances to promote programs.
      • Spearhead CO/LAB:Encore partnerships & program
      • Work alongside programming team to produce annual showcases and shows

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS JOB:

  • The position reports to the Director of Programs.
  • This position is part-time and requires 20 hours per week. 
  • This position will be on call in collaboration with the other programming team members for our weekend and evening classes to help manage any last minute needs and/or emergencies.
  • The position will receive an annual salary of $27,500.
  • CO/LAB is requiring all staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
  • This is a hybrid position. While some in-person office hours and/or meetings will be required, CO/LAB is proud to offer employees a flexible schedule and remote work opportunities. A specific schedule will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor. 
  • CO/LAB is proud to offer a generous vacation policy for our administrative staff.

    • I am organized and detail oriented. I have the ability to work on several projects at once, prioritize tasks, and delegate assignments. 
    • I am comfortable managing budgets and tracking expenses in real time.
    • I love to collaborate and welcome creative ideas from team members.
    • I am self-driven, and a critical thinker. 
    • I have a network of artists that I’d be excited to share with the CO/LAB community.
