Little Island’s Executive Assistant works to ensure the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer have a strong foundation of administrative support, and the executive leadership team holistically has the information and administrative systems necessary to lead Little Island in service to the park’s mission, priorities, and values. The ideal candidate is a flexible and thoughtful self-starter, who can handle juggling multiple priorities with diligence, discretion, creativity, and a sense of humor. This role is full-time year-round and dual reports to the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer.

  • Salary: $70,000-$75,000
  • Job Type:Exempt
  • Schedule Expectations: Generally Monday-Friday, with the flexibility to work nights and weekends, especially during the spring and summer seasons
  • Projected Start Date: ASAP
    • 5+ years working as administrative support for a senior leader in a non-profit, public space, or entertainment organization
    • Creative problem-solving and strong time management skills; has discretion and maturity
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey the mission and values of the park to a wide array of stakeholders
    • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Experience using Asana, Artifax, Airtable, or other planning and organizational tools
    • A passion for parks, arts, public spaces, and their role in local communities
    • Hardworking, energetic, self-motivated, and dedicated to the details
    • Eligibility to work in the US
    • A genuine interest and investment to contribute to our culture of camaraderie and excellence by collaborating and problem-solving cross-departmentally
    • Passion for engaging with visitors and guests, ensuring they feel welcome and have the information they need in service to a memorable visitor experience
